Visitor visa for Parents.

I want to apply tourist visa to my parents in the next few weeks. But recently I was laid off. I'm on Green card. 

1. Can I still apply the tourist visa and be a sponsor for them ? 
2. What are the chances of getting their visa approved ? 

Please advise. Thanks.

Your layoff should have nothing to do with their Green Card. Have them apply and they should get it. Most people do.

There is no sponsorship for a visitor visa. You can pay for their trip, but that isn't sponsorship.

You being unemployed is not relevant.
