H1B Transfer is initiated, when to give current employer notice

Recommended Posts

My H1B transfer has been initiated from company A to company B.

After transfer is approved, can I give my current employer 2 weeks notice and continue working for company A, until my start date at Company B.

For eg: I am approved for my H1B Transfer on Dec 1st, can i give notice to my current employer notice on Dec 1st and quit on Dec 15th, to join Company B after Dec 15th?

Please suggest, I am worried that if H1B transfer is denied, giving notice prior to approval might put me at risk at Employer A.
