Thank you. Not enough information. What is the status of your family? Who in your family are you talking about? Parents? Sibling? You can check the Visa Bulletin to see who can sponsor a family-based GC. And an EAD is only issued during a HC process, in the last stage. Link to comment

JoeF Posted December 4, 2017 Report Share Posted December 4, 2017 Sorry, that was a typo. GC process is what I meant. A US citizen sibling can sponsor you, but it takes 12+ years for the Priority Date o become current. Only then could you file an I-485 and EAD. Link to comment
