Sujithrat04
Hi, Am currently is US and was working on H1 visa until 15 days back. My H1B extension got denied and when I was about to leave the country , I had an unexpected medical emergency and now I have to stay back in US for medical tratement. My employer is planning to apply for B2 for me under medical grounds so that I wont be staying here without a status. Does anyone know how long it will take for a B2 to be approved from here? Also does the visa get stamped in passport from here itself? Thanks!! Link to comment
pontevecchio
By the time they decide you will have recovered from your medical issues at least well enough to go back. Basically a few months. Visas are not stamped in the country. Link to comment
