Interview only for principal but not the dependent

Hi fellows,

I have recently received the "schedule for interview" notice from USCIS. However, I am the only who received such a notice and my wife, who is secondary on this case, has not received the notice. Does this mean I should attend the interview myself alone and she might be exempted from the interview? Has anyone experienced a similar situation where only the primary applicant gets the notice? Any insight is highly appreciated as my wife may not be present on my interview date due to an urgent matter so it is crucial for us to clarify this situation.

It does make sense to Interview you as the primary. No worries. Let us know the nature of the Interview once it is over.

Does this mean I should attend the interview myself alone and she might be exempted from the interview? ->Depends when you filed your I 485 and when your spouse filed I 485. Right now only you attend as the interview is only for you.
