I-140 filed in May, 2017 - waiting for Approval

Hi there,

My I-140 was filed in May, 2017 but I have not received the approval yet on my case, whereas per the timelines on Govt. website, they are processing cases from June / July, 2017 - is there anyone else having the same experience?

Mine is in EB2 with Texas Service Center.

Texas service center is the worst center in this century. They are either delaying all the cases or transferring case from one center to another saying your case falls under so and so jurisdiction.

My immigration opened an SR with TSC. Could someone suggest how long does it usually take, and is there a way I can check the status of it?

Would it make sense to go for Premium processing this time?

Hi there,

My i140 was received by USCIS on May 17, 2017 but it has still not been approved, whereas USCIS website show that they're processing the cases received after this date.
This is EB-2 case in regular processing.

My immigration lawyer has raised an SR but not sure when would I get response or hopefully the approval on my case.
