Application in Feb 2015 (Washington DC)

Biometrics in Mar 2015

Interview in Nov 2015

 

Cleared the Civic test but was told that a decision cannot be made at the time. Multiple inquiries through the website and state senators returns the same response - "We regret the inconvenience but it is a matter of National Security". 

I am afraid that hiring an attorney will get the "National Security" response again.

Anyone in a similar situation? Has involving an attorney helped?

Why did you wait so long to ask?

They have to make a decision within 120 days after the interview. If they don't, you can file a writer of mandamus to force them to make a decision.
