Nakki Reddy Kiran Kumar
Hi Team, I am currently an Australian Citizen and came to USA on E-3 work visa. I just wanted to know whether i am eligible for GC and how long does it take to get the GC. I was indian born and currently holding an Australian citizenship and my Indian passport was renounced (Cancelled). Thanks Kiran Reddy. Link to comment
pontevecchio
It is certainly true that E3 is not dual intent. That does not preclude you from having an employer file your GC. Be aware the Priority dates are based on country of birth and unless your spouse is born in an appropriate country, your EB2 wait is a long one. If we are talking about EB1 if you qualify, that is much easier. Link to comment
Shurap1
Unlike H1B (which is dual intent visa), E3 is not a dual intent visa so GC cannot be applied. Talk to lawyer for your options. Link to comment
