L1B - 221g for Damaged Passport

Hi - I have appeared for my L1B Extension (2 Years) interview on 9/25 @ US Embassy in Chennai and Received a 221g for Damaged Passport. Irony is my passport got damaged during the Embassy Visit. Officer asked me to submit my new passport, old passport and I129s (x3) @ Drop Box Location. I submitted everything with 221g form on 9/28 @ New Delhi Dropbox Location.

Do you know what is the average processing time for such cases? During the interview officer mentioned My papers looks really strong and Ijust need to get a new passport.

Any reply on this will be highly appreciated.
