aquatint_007 Posted October 5, 2017 Report Share Posted October 5, 2017 I recently got my H4 Visa stamped in India and it has been approved (Visa Issue date -11th July 2017 and Expiration date - 14th July 2019). I started in the US and landed in India on 3rd July 2017. I would like to know if there is any "six months stay only" rule applicable for me if I am now planning to extend my India trip till January end. If there is anything of that sort, will it be counted from the day I landed here in India (i.e., July 3rd 2017) or will it be counted from the day of stamping (i.e., 11th July 2017)?
