Younger Sister B2 Visa

Hi,

 

I have a younger sister who is 25 years old, unmarried. She works in India in an MNC with good salary. She wants to visit US for a month and spend some time with my kid. What are her chances of getting a B2 visa. Please advise.

It is generally very hard for unmarried young women to get a visitor visa to the US.

If she gets a letter from her company stating salary and that she is on vacation for 4 weeks from X-Y and if she wants to visit at the weather appropriate times for the place you are staying at, she should get the visa. No agents. Have her look up the process and apply for the visa. You totally stay out of it. Let us know.

Thanks for your reply. She will have to self sponsor herself. Am I right ?

Since there is no concept of sponsoring a US Tourist visa that would be correct.
