H1-B Extension I-94 expired and can change my client

Hi,

My I-94 expired and before that my extension has been filed with client A.But I got a job in my local area another client B .

Can I join with client B with amendment file while H1b extension is in pending?

What happens my Extension with client "A"?

What is the consequences I may face in future my I -140 is already approved with my current employer.
