Adding dependents to GC process

My current employer initiated my GC process under EB3 in Feb, 2007. Applied I-140 and I-1485 under concurrent process in June, 2007. Got Married in Aug 2007, so waiting for my PD date to become current to add my family to my GC process, My current legal status in AOS ( GC EAD), my wife and Kid are on B1 visa ( visitor visa). Now filing date for EB3 shows  01Jan08, in this situation shall I file I-485 for my family even though they are on B1-Visa ? or they need to be on non-immigrant visa ?. FYI...I am holding H1B approved petition  as well ( valid till Aug 2018), in this case if i change my status from GC EAD to H1, later once I add my family to my GC , again change my status from H1B to GC EAD, will it be a problem for GC approval? please advise.
