Chait_5331 Posted September 13, 2017 Report Share Posted September 13, 2017 Hello experts for visitor visa extension I know the rule is to apply with in 45 days of I 94 expiry or by end of 6th month . After getting receipt notice and if the uscis does not make a decision by end of I 94 expiry date does the visitor has to leave right away .. please advise am planning for extension for 3 months . lovely Posted September 17, 2017 Report Share Posted September 17, 2017 Don't worry, they will give you enough time to leave in case if the application is denied and let you know why they denied, I have been checking the forum and have not heard any rejections for B2 extensions lately, I hope you will get it, just be patient with the process as it takes some time 60-90days. You don't have to leave if your current I94 is expired as long as your application for extension I539 is filed and you have received an acknowledgement from USCIS. Link to comment
