Ritu2017
I received my green card in 2016 and I traveled outside US and returned back using my green card in 2016 with no problems. I recently noticed that the gender is incorrect on my green card. I have a need to travel outside US after 1.5 months. 1. Will it be okay to travel with current green card with wrong gender and get it corrected after I come back from travel? 2. Or should I file I-90 , get my passport stamped for travel? Thanks in Advance. Link to comment
pontevecchio
1. "If you did not notice" you can take a chance and MOST likely things will be fine. 2. File for a replacement I90 and make sure you pay no fees due the mistake by them and in the interim charm the INFOPASS Officer in to stamping an I-551 on your passport. Better yet, first make an INFOPASS appointment and show them the card and request them to stamp the I-551 as you have to travel "urgently". Then apply for a replacement. That takes up to 4-6 months to arrive. Link to comment
