Archrao Posted September 7, 2017 Report Share Posted September 7, 2017 My H1 got picked in the lottery and i have RFE to answer with no job from past six months. i have my opt till feb 2019 and due to an emergency i am travelling to india so i am planning to withdraw my H1.If i do so will i get my OPT status back? or do i need to do anything else? best answers to this situation is really appreciated. JoeF Posted September 7, 2017 Report Share Posted September 7, 2017 On OPT, you can only be 3 months without a job. So, your OPT is already invalid. You won't be able to get it back. Link to comment
