Missed to Update First year Annual Evaluation on STEM to school WITHIN 10 DAYS OF DUE

Hi,

My 1st year of STEM was completed by July 16 2017 but I was in a delusion that I could only update my Annual self evaluation(page 5:I983) on receiving a remainder email from my school . But somehow, they missed to send a reminder and they followed up with me after 20 days of my first year  on STEM. So I sent the First year Annual evaluation after one month and one year of STEM(i.e: Aug 22 2017). But since I sent it later than 10 days from my first year of STEM(almost by over a month), My DSO said she could not process the update as the "Reporting Command" button from SEVIS system has disappeared.

I'm worried if my STEM will be cancelled/revoked. Please Guide. I have the following questions:

1) will my STEM be revoked? 

2)Usually WHEN and HOW  will DHS react to missed Annual Evaluation on I983?

3) What is the mode of communication from DHS, will they email me or just Mail me by air to communicate further? 

4) Can something be done to protect my status?

5) Will this affect my H1B application(which is already in RFE under processing)
