Hi,

I am currently on H1B with employer A. My visa and current H1B petition are valid till Mar 2020. I have recently received an offer from employer B and they will be starting the process of transferring my H1B. I have to travel to India for 2 weeks during Oct and since there is no premium processing currently, I am not sure when I would get my approval for the new employer. I am not sure if it is safe to travel to India when my transfer process in progress. Please can the experts guide me on this?

I would like to have your help in the similar case.

My H1B is expiring in Oct 2017, I have the approved I797 from my current employer(A). Now I am in a process of transfer my visa to the new employer(B). Most probably it will get approved before Dec 2017 also.
In Dec, I need to travel to India, most probably I would be still working for Employer A and I have to go through the stamping with the same employer-A(because I will join the employer B in January 2018). So I wanted to ask, if it is going to cause any issue during stamping, because I will be having two approved I797 during stamping from 2-different employers.
Your response will be highly appreciated

@pontevecchio Thanks for your inputs. As I understand from your post. I should be able to travel to India and when I come back I should not have any issues at PoE inspite of my transfer being in process. I have heard from multiple people that while returning back I would need to have a H1B transfer receipt with me.

Please advice if my understanding is correct on this.

I am with employer B with a new receipt from Aug 2017.
The petition/I-94/Visa with employer A is valid until Sep 2018. However I saw an update on this petition in uscis as
"Revocation Notice Was Sent".
Does this mean that USCIS will approve my new case soon? I am planning to travel India in October and I need to get the new petition approved for that.

Thanks.
