On OPT, Received RFE, Might get Laid off

Hello All, 

I am on OPT. H1b gotpicked. Got RFE on that. Applied for STEM OPT extension. Might get laid off from my job. What happens to the RFE if I get laid off from my job?

Your employer will not reply to the RFE which lead to a reject. You will have to find a new employer to file a fresh H-1B next year.

If you get laid off, the H1 would get denied, because the job doesn't exist anymore.
