kh_aaryan3
All, I am on Northern VA area I want to apply for citizenship in Nov. beginning but 'want' to travel India in Dec 2nd week for about 3 weeks and have below questions: 1) Can I do a walk in bio metric in Northern VA? Is there a spl. requirement for it? 2) Will my travel delay/affect the process or any other complications? 3) I read I should be able to get notifications by email, correct? Appreciate input! JoeF
The biometrics appointment will be long after you return from your trip. Link to comment

JoeF
Travel doesn't delay anything, as long as it doesn't break the physical presence requirement. It usually takes 2-3 months or so for the biometrics appointment. Once you have the appointment letter, it should be possible to do a Walk-in. It depends how busy they are, but it usually works out.
