Does Internship experience count with same employer

Hi Everyone, 

I have  a question regarding Perm application, 

For the Perm application, internship experience of the same employer will not count? 

Eg: I have done an internship for 10 months  and then the same employer hired me as full time employee. 

So when they will apply for my perm, my internship experience will not count as its under the same employer who is applying for my perm? 

I'll appreciate your response.

Any experience is counted.

Generally, experience with the same employer doesn't count, unless the GC job is at least 50% different from the old job.

Also, internships would only count as experience if they happened after the bachelor. Internships before the bachelor degree was awarded don't count.
