Hello, My i140 is approved and I am now in the long wait till my priority date becomes current. Now, I want a pursue an online masters degree while working part time. The issue is I will be in India while pursuing my degree. My employer is willing to allow me to work part time while I am studying from India. Does USCIS permit this or will it void my i140? I will be employed part time and not be a contractor, so it is like an extended leave of absence. Can this be done? Thank you for your help!

The I-140 doesn't require you to be in the US. The only rule is that the job specified in the I-140 has to be available to you at all times. The reason for that is that the PD could become current at any time (as unrealistic as that may sound, that is what happened in July 2007 for EB2, when they made everybody current for one month...)
