EAD renewal gaps - RFE

Hi,

I have a 2 month gap between my EAD renewals BUT i did work during that time. My I-485 is in process and it's asking for all EAD dates. with the gap, they would question if i worked during that time. What should i do? many say that it's illegal to work during that time gap and subsequently GC will be denied.

what are my options please?

They have more important things to do. Just mention all dates truthfully.

Did you file it well ahead of time? If 90 days elapsed after filing and your existing EAD did not expire , did you get an interim EAD? It looks like EAD is valid only for the dates printed on it (that is changing w.e.f Jan 17/2017 see below for the uscis link).  Talk to an attorney may be murthy.com .. Below are some links

jab14, you do not have valid h1b during that 2 months gap? you can show that as your status.
