F1 OPT to H4 EAD COS and H4 EAD start date

Hi, I am currently working on F1 OPT which is valid till June 2^nd, 2018. I am getting ready to file change change of status for H4 next month with (Form I-539, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status) concurrently with H4 EAD (Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization). This is based upon my husband’s approved Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. My question is, as the Form I-539 has a future effective date, is it safe for me to put my OPT end date listed above for this date and will my EAD, if approved, will have same start date as the effective date I list in the form?
