Parents traveling to US on visitor visa twice without 6months gap in between

My parents have multiple entry 10 year visitor visa. They've been coming to US almost every year in the last few year. 

They now want to come for 2 months from Nov - Jan 3 2017 and again from May - Oct in 2018. Will the second travel in 2018 be impacted because there isn't a 6months gap between the two trips? Are there any recommended docs that can be shown at port of entry to confirm that there is no immigration intent?

Immigration intent is a frame of mind and does not involve documents. They may possibly get a much shorter stay in 2018. Or they may get 6 months. No way to tell.

Most likely not an issue. What raises eyebrows is if people stay for 6 months and then soon after come again. That looks like actually living in the US.

Since they only plan to stay for 2 months from Nov. it should be fine.
