alt2017
i know it's s silly question. Like most folks on the planet, I am wearing (Rx)prescription glasses at all time because of being short-sighted since teens. regarding to the photo requirement for the N400, it says standard U.S. passport photo. https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports/photos.html the US government made a new rule in 2016 and ask NOT to wear glasses. Does this new rule apply to the prescribed glasses ? i hate taking photo without my Rx glasses,as my eye and face are looking horrible in the picture w/o glasses. Eyes are getting smaller w/o glasses as they are more sensitive to light without the glasses protection. also, can i have a little smile in the passport picture ? like natural , unexaggerated smile, showing a little teeth. pontevecchio
""You cannot wear glasses. If you cannot remove your glasses for medical reasons, please include a signed note from your doctor with application."" " You must have a neutral facial expression or a natural smile, with both eyes open." You quoted a site where your relevant information is present. Link to comment
