I-485 Current- Travel Out of Country

Hello,

My PD is October -2006 for EB3-India . There are predictions that the PD may be current in the September Visa Bulletin.

Can I travel out of the country as my mom is not keeping well. Please suggest.

Note: I have my EAD/AP which expires in Sep 2018.
