I-140 approved but employer not sharing.

Hi,

My friend has got I-140 approved but it is with his employer. When asked the details, the employer is not willing to share any information or provide a copy. His H1 is still valid for 2 more years , so he has not moved on i-140.

Please advise the alternative methods to receive I-140 copy or details without letting the employer know.

Also, what documents are required for transferring i-140 to new employer.

He can get the approval copies using FOIA request.

An I-140 can never be transferred. A new employer would have to start the process from scratch. The only thing you can reuse is the PD.
