Changing Employer while I140 is approved

Hi,

My I-140 has been approved in April 2017. My 6 year H1B is expiring in September 2017. I have got a new job offer. If I switch to the new employer & my current employer revoke my I-140 then what are my options ?

1.) Can the new employer obtain H1B beyond 6 year limit ?

2.) Can my new employer transfer this approved I-140 ?

If not then do they need to start from PERM again?
