Changing employer while current H1-B transfer is in RFE

Hello,

    I have recently changed the employer and my H1 transfer has got RFE asking for explanation of academic credential qualification for the specialty occupation. I have already started working for my new employer on receipt as premium processing has be suspended. I am little bit worried because I have my bachelors degree from Electronics & communications and masters from Electrical Engineering and working in an software industry(although my course work has computers and programming related courses).

My question is I find an another employer in an field more closely related to my academics, would I be able to initiate a new H1-B transfer while the 1st case is still pending?.  Any thoughts?.
