I am on student visa now but my H1B has been picked up and will be in effect from October. Please advise if I have to stay with current employer for some time before making a switch. JoeF Posted May 19, 2017 Report Share Posted May 19, 2017 You have to start working for the original H1 employer, but that's the only requirement. There is no requirement to stay a specific time with the employer. Link to comment
