H1B 7th year extension processing times faster than regular 4th year extension?

Hello, my 6th year of H-1B is about to expire at the end of September. My PERM and I-140 has been approved, so I am expecting to get a 3 year extension. The processing times for H-1B extensions in general seem to be long (roughly 5-6 months) but some colleagues of mine whose extension was filed under similar circumstances in the past year (7th year, I-140 approved), got their approval within 6 weeks.  Is there any reason to believe that the extension applications for 7th year are faster for certain types of extensions?
