Hello, 

I have Visa stamped till Aug 2018, I changed my employer and got new petition i797 till Sept 2019, if I go India will I need to go for VISA Stamping again ? if so am I eligible for visa dropbox ?

Yes. you are eligible.

You dont need a new Visa until the current one expires. You will travel with the Visa Stamp and at the POE show your current I-797.

I'm in the same situation - H1B stamp with old employer's name on it expires in June 2018 - planning to change jobs so I got a new I 797 with a different employer valid until 2020. 

Do do I need a new visa before the old visa expires???
