EB1 doubt

Hi there,

 

 This is my 7^th year living in US, I graduated with MS, MBA and currently working on H1 Visa.

 

I also have a hobby of playing on Tabla since I was very young, I had a gap of few recent years but I am getting back on it and I feel that I am good at it. Recently, I did some research on EB-1 Musician category green card and I may be able to provide documentation for 3 out of 10 criteria but that will take lot of time and efforts. Given my current visa status, is it worth to put that time and efforts to gather those musician category credentials? Since I have already been studied and worked in US in different field wouldn’t it look like I am just looking for other avenue to get my green card through musician category which might very well be a reason for my case to be rejected?
