If cops or ICE agents stop do we need to show the physical copy since its a valuable document and not like a green card which I can carry in my wallet it may have chances to get folded and torn in 3 years. To be more exact, government-issued photo id (doesn't have to be a passport) and the I-94 have to be carried with you. Nowadays, you don't get a paper I-94 anymore, so it is best to print out the online I-94. Link to comment
