Hi,

I am working for multinational company for past 9 years. I moved from India to USA on H1B visa with the same company. My company has initiated GC through EB2 process and yet to file PERM (ETA 9089). Prevailing wage (PWD) and recruitment is complete and my attorney's are drafting Perm now.

Knowing current circumstances with new immigration rules, my employer want me to convert to Blanket L1A and file GC through EB1C.  This will help me get a GC sooner. I have managerial experience in India as well as here in US and I manage a team of 25 people directly reporting to me.

My questions are:

1. Can I go for a Blanket L1A conversion. My max date is Jan 2018 at present. So If I get L1A, then it will give me 1 more year to finish GC through EB1C process.

2. Is there a risk in taking EB1C route for my GC since PWD which is initial part of Perm process is already complete? Will the perm process conflict with EB1C process and pose danger?

Thanks.
