blore2013
Hello,I am on H1, I am planning to apply for tourist visa for my sister in law, she is currently studying engineering in India. Her parents (my father/mother in-law) already have tourist visa approved, which was sponsored by me.Now the question is, should i sponsor the tourist visa for my sister in law as well or she should self sponsor, please provide some guidance on which option is best. thanks .. JoeF
There is no sponsorship for visitor visas. Paying for the trip isn't sponsorship. Link to comment
pontevecchio
US law does not allow for sponsorship for tourist visas in spite of whatever documents you sent or did not send last time. She should apply on her own stating a duration commensurate with her summer vacation from College. A letter from the college about her being a bonafide student there and if possible a mention of the vacation dates should suffice. Anybody can pay for the trip. Link to comment
