mitgc
Based upon my current h4 ead based employment, employer filed my GC with first step on PWD in dec 2016. Once PWD issued in 3-4months, it will be concurrent filing of I140-I485 since my priority date is current. So, while i am in process of getting GC if H4 EAD gets revoked before 140 approved (which would be by May 2017), would my GC gets stuck? Link to comment
JoeF
The GC is for a job in the future, when the GC is approved. It has nothing to do with the H4 EAD. Link to comment
mitgc
Thanks JoeF. Your response is appreciated. But with help of H4 EAD i am able to work now and because of that GC have been filed but for some reason if h4 EAD is revoked in between can whole process be on hold ? Link to comment
JoeF
Again, the GC and the H4 are two different things. One can even be abroad and have an employment-based GC process. The employer can of course decide to not continue with the PERM or I-140, but that is independent of having an H1, H4, H4 with EAD, etc. Link to comment
