I am planning to go for H1B Stamping in March or April. Can i go with current passport or need to apply new passport for Stamping ? Link to comment

General rule says it should not be expiring in next 6 months and if you go in march or april.. it will be 6 months so better if you renew it first then go... If you go with old passport then even while coming back to USA you will get i-94 till your current passport expiration which is sep 17.. so you will need to exit country again for getting new i-94..
