EAD Renewal denied - Fee not enclosed

Hi, I have applied for EAD/AP renewal based on my pending I-485 (which was filed during end of year 2009).  As per USCIS website and my earlier renewal experience I did not include the fee but forms got rejected with the reason that 'Correct fee was not included'.  I called USCIS after few days i got a call from second level USCIS support and he said my I-485 is currently under review that was the reason my EAD got rejected.  He said wait for 30 more days to hear back the decision on my I-485.  Which doesn't sound right since current EB-2 priority date is Apr 2008.  My priority date is end of 2009.  

Question i have is, should i resend EAD/AP renewal application?  or should i wait until 30 more days as he suggested?
