H1b after 6th year without i-140 approved

I have completed 5 years of H1b and extension( for rest 1 year) was applied/approved recently. 
I got 3 years(5+3 = 8 years) of extension instead of rest of 1 year(5+ 1 = 6 years H1b limit). 

can I stay in US through 1-140 is not approved(within h1b 6th year) since I-797 is valid for more 3 years ? 
will there be any issue if I go INDIA for stamping ?
