MY EAD card also expires on the same day as my passport but my H4 Visa stamping on passport is till 2018. It may take 3-4 weeks to get my renewed passport. Wondering, if can apply for H4 EAD renewal now itself, so that I don't waste sometime while waiting for renewed passport. Will it be okay to apply for h4 EAD with current passport copy and produce the renewed copy after I receive? Please help Link to comment

USCIS usually checks the passport expiration date before issuing any approvals. Passport need to be valid for at least 6 months. Better to apply clean than confusing them. Link to comment
