My Visa stamping expires by Sept First 2011. I don't have masters from US and As I did H1b visa transfer, am I eligible to go Canada,Vancouver for stamping? Appreciate your help. Link to comment

gkh
Yes. Since you are getting stamped for the same visa class as before (h1b), you are eligible to go to canada or Mex. Link to comment
victorypap
Hi, If you done you first H-1B stamping home country, then you can go to canada for your second H-1B stamping. Link to comment
mirali36
H1B stamping has nothing to do with your going to Canada for Visa intrvw Link to comment
sanjivvinaik
There is no proper and fixed guideline followed but in most cases they create problem for thoes who entered US on some other visa class and then get H1 and want to get in stamped in Mexico or Canada. BUT If first time you entered US on H1 itslef then it does not matter where you go fro 2nd stamping. Link to comment
soundsgood
Thank you all. I entered USA on H1b and I had first H1b stamping from home country India @ Chennai. Link to comment
rashiars
You should be fine, I guess! Mostly whenever I have heard it's about first time stamping! Good luck! Link to comment
sanjivvinaik
In that case you are good to go @ any consulate for H1 stamping. Link to comment
kmallik2000
I moved from L1B to H1B on Oct 07. I did not go for stamping since then. Do you see if there is any problem for me if i go to Canada for my first H1B visa stamping. My first L1 was stamped in India. any suggestions? Link to comment
sanjivvinaik
If you go from L1 to H1B stamping then i do not think you have US / Canada Masters and as you mentioned it will be your first H1 stamping so your chances are HIGH where you can be asked to go to your home country for stamping. In these times i would not take that chances but again it all depends on your luck. Link to comment
