spbs Posted September 8, 2016 Report Share Posted September 8, 2016 Wanted to know, If I get promoted to QA Team Lead from Sr. QA Engineer (along with old roles and responsibilities, some additional roles and responsibilities will get added to new title), do we have to file an amendment to my current H1-B? Also, I have my I-140 is approved, for which the PERM was approved against the same QA position. I will be still in QA and SOC code remains the same 15-1132. Two years back, When I got promoted from Software QA Engineer to Sr.QA Engineer, since the job duties were not materially changed , we didn’t file an amendment which was confirmed by my attorney.
