rupeshrajagopalan
Hello, I asked my attorney to file for AC-21 since I changed job on EAD recently. My attorney sent me a draft copy of employment letter which they need from my new employer. The last line of the letter stated this: NEW COMPANY wishes to take over responsibility of Former Employer, OLD COMPANY. with respect to MY Permanent Residence application. The new company's HR is reluctant to sign the letter because of the above line. The new company does not provide any sponsorship. My attorney says if that line is not included then there can be some issues. Since according to him AC-21 means New Company is taking over the shoes of the Old Company. Please advise. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Get a second opinion from the firm of Murthy. The job letter only needs to specify job responsibilities which need to be BROADLY similar. Your current Lawyer is a tad conservative and possibly young. Link to comment
