Visitor Visa renewal

Hello,

 

My mother would like to renew her 10 year visitors visa which is expiring in Feb 2017.

 

1.) Can she travel without issues for a month to the US on her current visitors visa while her renewal is in process? Maybe visit in Nov and plan going back in Dec or Jan. I know generally I0-94 would be granted for 6 month, but in her case, this time she would not have 6 months remaining on her visa.

 

We plan on sending in her renewal application in a few days for renewal and would like to ensure she could travel during the holidays to spend time with us.

She can. I94 duration is not dependent on the visa expiry.
