who is the principle applicant and petitioner for h4 visa

I wanted to take visa appointment for my spouse in India. On the cgifederal website before taking appointment it asks for below questions,

1) principle applicant - me or spouse?

2) principle applicant visa class - h1b or h4?

 

3) petitioner name - me or my employer?

4) petitioner receipt number

5) start and expiry date

 

Can someone help me what these answers will be?

You don't have an employer on H4.

You are the applicant and petitioner for the H4.

They do want to know that your spouse is in valid H1 status, so they may ask for the name of your spouse's employer.

But that in itself does not make the spouse's employer a petitioner.

You are the applicant and the petitioner.

seems the OP is asking questions on behalf of the spouse seeking H4..

 

to clarify to the OP, the spouse seeking the H4 visa is the primary applicant and petitioner
