pila
Hi Experts, I need small information about "FIRST TIME H1B VISA STAMPING OUTSIDE OF HOME COUNTRY" scenarios. Let me explain my case here. 1. I came USA on H4 on 2010. After that I got H1b in 2011 and from there till 2013, I was in H1b. But 2013 H1B extension got denied because of employer issue. 2. So once after my denied i immediately fly back to India, and got stampped with H4 again and came back to USA and changed my status immediately to H1B. 3. From that day till now working, no issue so far. 4. Now I have to go Europe for business trip. Now my attorney is advising not to go because its my first time H1B stamping there may be possibilities for rejections because its not my home town. 5. Here my concern is, I am going there as business trip, I can show my client business trip documentations and stay details as well. Could you please help me, can i go or is it risk. Does any one have any idea about Amsterdam Consulate. Please advise me, you inputs are highly appreciate. -Thanks, Pila Link to comment
Parker
if you have all proper documents... they wont reject.... the worst case you can expect is delay in processing... like your case goes to Administrative processing and it may take from few days to months to clear that.... Good Luck... Link to comment
NP2020
Some countries do not allow first time H1B stamping and will ask you to go to home country. For example, Mexico will not allow first H1B visa interviews. So check their website and read carefully on who can apply for H1B Visa interview Link to comment
