Need your help in visitor visa

Recommended Posts

I need help in visitor visa.

My mom came to US in Nov 2014.  Initially US immigration gave her 6 months stamp.  But in April 2015, we applied for her extension and she was approved.  So he stayed for another six months and she went back to India in Nov 2015.

My questions are:

1.  We are planning to bring her back to US in Sept 2016.  Since it is only 10 months, is it OK for her to travel?  How long she needs to stay in India before she can come back.

2.  Since he already applied and got the extension once, so when she enters US now, will immigration give her 6 months stamp or will it be less?

Thank you in advance

As long as her intent is temporary there shouldn't be a any problem.

There is no rule on how long the gap needs to be.

Good Luck!

A visitor should be in his or her home country more than in the US.

It is recommended to be in the home country for at least twice as long as the last US visit before visiting again.

So, she should be in her home country for 2 years before visiting again.

A visit too soon could result in a denial  of entry at worst, or a shorter allowed stay, possible with an annotation "no EOS".
