Anybody can give some input with my J1 hardship waiver case? Thanks!

Hi, all!

DOS received all my initial forms back to November 2015.

On February, USCIS asked for additional evidence. We submitted on March and the USCIS updated that they have received it on April.

Then on May.17th that USCIS is asking for a non-USCIS advisory opinion (I assume USCIS is asking DOS?). My daughter was born on April so we mailed in her birth certificate and now the status on USCIS says they have received request for envidence.

However, it has been almost a month and I didn't see any updates on DOS websites (it seems they didn't receive my I612 yet.)

My case is based on hardship to my US citizen husband and US citizen daughter (newborn), and my husband is in the US army.

Do you know how long will it take for them to make a decision and do you think they will approve my case?
